Snapchat VS Instagram at Coachella 2015

With a plethora of social media platforms to upload your content to, it’s not surprising that Snapchat is bringing out all the stops at Coachella 2015. Snapchat has developed unique geofilters (graphics that can be superimposed onto an image) for the event that can only be used within a specific location, giving users a great way to personalize and share their experiences on Coachella’s “Our Story”. The geofilters are even timed to the schedule of each stage. Each user will have access to a unique illustration that will also display the artist playing during the set as well as the stage’s own illustrated logo. This will encourage users to be snap-happy in order to gain access to these individualized filters. But Coachella’s “Our Story” isn’t a free for all. The MTV Movie Awards 2015 were filled with drama, tears, sexual innuendos and jaw dropping outfits. But between the inappropriate grabbing (most notably Zac Efron with Dave Franco, and Cara Delevingne with a shirtless, and rather buff, seat filler) there were some hilarious and heartfelt moments on stage.
