Cherry Picc’d: P.S. I’m On My Way

We’re traveling around the world with this week’s cherry picc’d, P.S. I’m On My Way. Started by Trisha Velarmino from the Philippines, P.S. I’m On My Way is the story of a girl who wanted to see the world. “The first time I studied abroad in Italy, I told myself that I will travel the world. So, I quit my job in the Fashion Industry and just left without a plan,” says Trisha. Which, if you’ve ever backpacked or worked overseas, is terrifying. And even more so if you’re a girl going solo. Trisha, with the help of guest bloggers and travelers alike, explores what it means to work abroad, how to go about traveling safely, what options are available for someone wanting to work overseas, and more importantly, how to just run with the inevitable crises that every traveler has to deal with. Above all it’s about empowering people to take the…

Cherry Picc’d: The Fashion Guitar

We’re featuring quite the jetsetter on this week’s cherry picc’d blog, The Fashion Guitar. Blogger and fashionista, Charlotte Groeneveld, is the international lady of the week with her phenomenal blog. Charlotte grew up in the Netherlands before moving to London for four years, and then finally settling in New York. It’s no wonder her style is so eclectic, and so too is her audience. As a mother of two, Charlotte has posts on maternity wear (a much needed niche if you’ve ever wandered past a maternity section in a department store), weddings, reports on the ongoings of New York and Paris Fashion Weeks, and just general kick-ass style for different women at different stages of their lives. So if you’re ever in need of some fashion inspiration, you might as well strum through all the glorious offerings of The Fashion Guitar. Here are a few of Charlotte’s looks that we can’t wait…

Cherry Picc’d: Oh She Glows

It’s about to get inspirational with this week’s cherry picc’d blog, Oh She Glows. It all started with Angela Liddon, who embarked on an incredible journey of self-discovery and ended up not only improving her own personal relationship with food, but her million plus followers as well. It’s astounding how dramatic her change has been, and how it has become a motivational story for many who struggle with their own eating disorders and unhealthy releationships with food. Above and beyond that, the food is delectable. There are vegan recipes, desserts, burgers, salads, recipes for people who have certain food allergies … the list is endless. And let’s not forget that it’s the weekend, so get cooking, good looking and get that glow, “from the inside out.” Here are a few or our drool-worthy choices. What’s your top picc? Cherry Picc’d: Green Kitchen Stories

Every change of season needs a change of wardrobe, but it also requires a slightly altered diet with differing seasonal vegetables making their grand fall entrance. This is precisely why our cherry picc’d blog this week is Green Kitchen Stories, an organic, vegatarian food blog. Now dispel your misconceptions about green cuisine. Green Kitchen Stories has the most delectable recipes (breakfast, brunch, main dishes, soups, salads, cakes, desserts, cookies and sweets) and has made an appearance on Piccing before with their dark chocolate and sea salt popcorn. Meals, like the shattered blueberry yoghurt cake, will leave you stunned that these dishes qualify as healthy, while still managing to be so delicious. And behind every recipe there’s a story, which breathes life into the usual two eggs and cup of flour format. The blog is run by couple Luise Vindahl (creator of recipes and excellent cook) and David Frenkiel (the vegetarian, food stylist…
