Cherry Picc’d: What My Boyfriend Wore

Our cherry picc’d blog this week, What My Boyfriend Wore, comes to you from the wildly beautiful Cape Town, South Africa. And you best know that blogger, Sergio Ines, definitely has some crazy style if he can compete with one of the most scenic countries in the world. “My girlfriend at the time loved documenting my outfits and started putting them up on Instagram, it became so popular that I started this blog. Now, it’s all about fashion for normal men,” says the exceedingly dapper Capetonian on his blog. From blazers to lapel pins, restaurants to top travel destinations, Sergio definitely covers all you need to know to stay at the top of the gentleman’s game. Oh, and the photography is to die for. So if you’re looking for a place to get the skinny on all things manly and fancy, What My Boyfriend Wore is the blog for you. Here are…

Cherry Picc’d: The Jungalow

We’re getting a little wild with our cherry picc’d blog this week, The Jungalow. Created by blogger and designer, Justina Blakeney, we highly doubt there is any better place to get your bohemian home decor inspiration. “I’ve always just seen the world as a colorful, crazy place, and a place where experimentation is allowed, and mistakes are allowed. It’s wild and funky, and spunky, and colorful, and fun, but also homey,” explains Blakeney. How can you not get on board with that aesthetic, especially since there’s so much more than design that Blakeney has on offer, like recipes (this coconut milk pumpkin soup looks too good not to try), crafts and style. And with that it’s into the wild we go! Here’s some of Blakeney’s featured decor that we’re admittedly obsessed with. What’s your top picc? Cherry Picc’d: The Chronicles of Her

We’re kicking off the first cherry picc’d blog of 2016 with quite a cracker. We’d introduce you, but you’re probably already familiar with Australian fashion blogger, Carmen Hamilton, writer of The Chronicles of Her. Is it just us, or do some of the best fashion bloggers come from down-under? Carmen’s style is the food equivalent of a macaroon. Deceptively simple and elegant, but don’t be fooled. This little lass plays with different proportions and cuts of clothing like it’s nothing, while still looking jaw-droppingly put together every time. And did we tell you she has the most beautiful blog? These are some of our top looks. Which would you picc? Click on the image to get this look or something like it. Cherry Picc’d: Zoe Suen

This week’s cherry picc’d blog is Fashiononymous, by the rather wonderful Zoe Suen. If you’re looking for style inspiration that’s easy to replicate, but unique in it’s own right, then Zoe’s your girl. Originally from Hong Kong, but currently studying in London, Zoe uses her blog for creative expression, and creative it is indeed. From music playlists to beautiful photography, it’s the ultimate eclectic mix of fashion, travel and creativity. Zoe’s also confessed to always being hungry (we can relate in a big way) and crying a lot in movies (tear, tear) which lends itself to her overall blog persona being incredibly relatable. So take a peek at what Ms Suen has to offer, and prepare to be inspired. We can’t wait to recreate these looks. Which is your top picc? Click on the image to get this look or something like it. Cherry Picc’d: Man Repeller

Our cherry picc’d blog this week, Man Repeller, headed by Leandra Medine and her team, aka: your new best friends. Man Repeller delves into the complexities of being a women, or really, of just being human. This is a space where creativity, hilarity and intellect reign supreme. It’s a space where you embrace fashion as an expression of self rather than a guide to wearing the latest trends. Where tough topics are breached and embraced (this email conversation about food is a revelation). Where it’s more about a holistic approach to womanhood versus a simplistic summation of one tiny aspect of the female experience. “As a woman, we no longer have to feel like our interests in fashion and other things minimizes our intellect,” Leandra says while interviewing Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner. And we couldn’t agree with her more. Man Repeller is inspiring, engaging and has some of the most authentic content you…

Cherry Picc’d: To Vogue Or Bust

We’re headed to Vancouver for this week’s cherry picc’d blog, To Vogue Or Bust. Written by Alexandra Grant, this fashion blog’s mission is to help every woman with their own personal style on any budget. It’s quite the task, but we think Alexandra is doing a superb job wrangling the latest seasonal trends that can be copied with some essential staples. There are even a few recipes, like this green smoothie (yum!) and travel articles for women traveling solo. So if you need your fashion fix, and some femme adventures, Ms Grant is your girl. Here are some of Alexandra’s looks that we can’t wait to recreate. What are your top piccs? Click on the image to get this look or something like it. Get Piccing now. Photo credit: To Vogue Or Bust. Cherry Picc’d: My New Roots

We’re getting down and healthy with some culinary delights in this week’s cherry picc’d blog, My New Roots. Founder, Sarah Britton, started My New Roots as a way to make information about healthy eating readily available, as opposed to the fad diets that we’re bombarded with every day. It’s about lifestyle, not labels, as Sarah shares in her bio, “The only label I’ll slap on myself is ‘whole-food-lover’. Nothing makes me feel better, think better, and look better than whole foods! And the big bonus? I never count calories or worry about my weight because I know that if I eat this way, my body will be in a perfect state of balance and health, naturally.” We couldn’t agree more, Sarah! We can’t wait to tuck into these recipes. What’s your top picc? Click on the image to share it on Piccing. Like any of the items? Get them on Piccing. Photo…

Cherry Picc’d: Gizele a Go-Go

We have some laid-back bohemian style on our cherry picc’d blog this week, Gizele a Go-Go. Gizele, an international Brazilian model, blogs about fashion, lifestyle and life in front of the camera. Naturally she looks gorgeous in her fashion shots, but her boho-inspired outfits are somewhat unexpected, beautifully styled, and easy to recreate. And that’s why we love Gizele, because her looks are ripe for the piccing all year round — even for those of us that might be a little shorter, or a little, cough, wider. We can’t wait to recreate these looks. What’s your top picc? Click on the image to get this look or something like it. Get Piccing now. Photo credit: Gizele a Go-Go. We’re in Chicago for some home decor fun with this week’s cherry picc’d blog, The DIY Playbook. The blog is run by best friends and home decor duo, Bridget and Casey. You can get a myriad of helpful DIY tips, decor tips, and they even have a post or two on their favorite seasonal fashion trends. These girls are doing it for themselves, which is impressive seeing as we all know how intimidating DIY can be when faced with something as simple as fixing nail holes in your wall. And with fall home decor trends abound, it’s the perfect time to get some inspiration flowing. These are some of the home decor marvels from The DIY Playbook that we adore. What’s your top picc? Amy is also a personal stylist, so if you’re loving what this little fashionista is selling, then you could hire Amy to accompany you on your next shopping trip.
